This has got to be one of the easiest list building strategies I know! AND it actually works. This strategy takes me about 5-10 minutes to do and cranks out
between 20-40 leads per day!

BUT there is a special trick here to make this work. 90% of marketers who use these services get squat! That’s because they are doing it ALL wrong!

So what is this dead simple strategy?

LISTBUILDERS & SAFELISTS

Now before you tell me that “Safelists DON’T work!!” … PLEASE READ ON…

You are 90% correct.

Safelists and listbuilders DON’T WORK for 90% of their members. BUT for the small percentage of marketers that KNOW what they are doing… they can be an absolute GOLDMINE!!

So What’s The Secret?

It’s pretty simple. The #1 rule of successful marketing is to KNOW YOUR TARGET MARKET.

So… ask yourself? What is the target market on safelists and listbuiders? Who are these people? What are their problems? And what do they WANT?

The ANSWER: They want traffic.

Most likely they are on a budget, are relatively new to online marketing, and most likely NOT making a ton of money yet. They signed up for these listbuilders and safelists to GET MORE TRAFFIC.

So what should we promote to this market?

Resources, training and solutions on how to get more traffic!!

Pretty simple huh? Make sense?

You will notice that the majority of advertising on those sites is the members promoting their opportunities or programs. With very little results. When you jump onto these sites and begin promoting valuable training on getting more traffic, you will instantly get results!

Don’t Waste Your Money and Time

The second part to this equation of course is the quality of the safelist or listbuilder. For your convenience I have listed out the top safelists and listbuilders right here for you.

So you want to make money online? Join the club! LOL!

Listen, I will be the first one to tell you that making money online, having your very own internet marketing business is HANDS DOWN the coolest, most fun, and most profitable business you can have!

No boss. No time lines. No commute. No schedule. No overhead. No employees. No inventory. And the list goes on and on.

You can literally create business systems that crank out money day in and day out. Whether you are there working or not.

Ah yes the internet lifestyle dream!

Unfortunately, for most wannabe marketers, the reality resembles more of a nightmare. Trust me I know. I struggled for years in my basement, in the wee hours of the morning, drowning in debt, stressed out, frustrated, at the end of my rope.

Running your own business, making a 6 or 7 figure income from the comfort of your home is NOT EASY! And anyone who tries to tell you different is LYING to you! Believe me!

It’s NOT EASY. But it is NOT difficult. It’s not really that complicated. It’s definitely NOT rocket science. It may be confusing.  And over-whelming. That I know very well.

There are so many different ways to make money on the internet, dozens, hundreds really. Many entrepreneurs get stuck right here, before they even start. Trying to figure out your business model can be a daunting task. Affiliate marketing, CPA networks, network marketing, blogging, adsense,  ebay, ecommerce, infoproducts, and the list goes on… and on.

So let’s simplify.

I’m going to give you a business model to follow, to start with, that will allow you to build and incorporate any additional money making elements into it as you grow your business. Sound good?

The best thing you can do is to find your niche. You may have heard this before. Don’t let this task be too daunting. Keep it simple. Think about the things you are already into or enjoy.

Finding your niche is all about building a business around the things that already interest you. It can be your personal hobbies and interest or professional ones.

Simple is best. Do not complicate your business model. Keep it simple.

Here’s the basic game plan for a successful online business.

If you are struggling with this I HIGHLY recommend you print this out and read it each day for the next 30 days. This is your business blueprint. Your foundation. In Part 2 we will show you how to drive MASSIVE TRAFFIC to this business and generate that 6 and 7 figure income you deserve!

  1. Choose a theme, concept, niche for your business – what interests you, what skills do you already posses, what are you skilled or knowledgeable on?
  2. Build a website, preferably a blog around this chosen niche
  3. Build your brand, your credibility, your authority on this niche through high quality, relevant content on your blog
  4. Build your online presence, through article (&video) syndication, social networking and social media
  5. Build your list with opt-in subscribers
  6. Add income producing elements, such as relevant affiliate programs, and advertising mediums
  7. Create your own products, services, membership sites around your theme

That’s pretty much it. You can complicate this if you want, and as you build it yourself you will modify and change this blueprint, BUT if you are still struggling with getting your business off the ground and into profit, I would STRONGLY encourage you to get back to basics and build your business on a solid foundation such as this outlined blueprint.

Please keep this step simple. Don’t over think it too much. One of the best things you can do is to JUST GET GOING! So pick a niche and get to work! It may NOT be your 7 figure business right out of the gate but I guarantee that you will learn everything you need to eventually build that dream business down the road. It’s a helluva lot better than sitting around stressing about which is the prefect niche for you.

That being said, here’s a few guidelines. (Taken from a very well written article on the subject from one of my favorite marketing blogs  – How to Choose the Right Niche

  1. Narrow your interests. Choose several things you are interested in or knowledgeable about and put them through a couple of websites and tools. Use search engines or Wikipedia to narrow down your focus, get more background, resources and additional information. This research can help you to determine the potential depth of your particular interest and if it is something you may want to pursue and build a business around.
  2. Assess the Traffic Potential. In order to make money from your interest, you need to answer the question: Are there enough people who actually search for information on your particular interest? I recommend using the SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool.  Type in a general keyword for your topic, and focus on the length of the list of additional keywords that come up. The length of this list of keyword variations gives you an idea of how deep you can go with this particular niche and also how many different keywords you will have the potential to target.
  3. Determine the Profit Potential. There are basically 3 way to monetize your traffic. One is through advertising networks on your blog (eg. Adsense, Text Links, Auction Ads), two is through promoting affiliate programs and three is by creating and selling your own products, services or memberships. Lets keep this step simple as well, so we’re just going to use 2 simple tools to determine the viability of our chosen niche.  First we’re going to compare what advertisers are spending on certain keywords relevant to our niche, and then we will determine if there is a suitable amount of affiliate programs to promote in our niche.  Start with the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and type in your general keyword for your chosen interests. You will see a column that shows a average CPC (cost per click) that advertisers are paying for that keyword. Ideally I would say you should be looking for a range between $1 to $4 dollars. The keywords in this range should be profitable while at the same time not overly competitive.  Next, to find affiliate programs simply use Google and search for affiliate programs by typing in your niche keyword + “affiliate program”.  You should be able to tell if there are an adequate number of affiliate programs.  I would also recommend you do a quick search at Commission Junction, Shareasale and ClickBank.

That’s basically it, again keep it simple.  Choose a niche you are interested in or knowledgeable about. Determine if there is enough interest and potential profitability.

Write Blogs That Captivate Readers

Writing a really captivating blog takes a little more work then just finding a topic and writing about it. There are several elements that you must consider when planning to write any type of blog.

Keyword phrases and the title of your blog go hand in hand. You can either choose to pick the keywords around your content or the content around your keywords, either way they must be relevant to your blog and interesting. This is what’s going to get you that high SEO you’re aiming for. This is also where the title comes in. This is arguably the most important part of your blog because it’s what draws people in, it’s the first thing they see. Your title will become the anchor text in search results or hyperlinks and also for all the inbound links to that blog. You have to have your keyword phrase in the title and it also has to be something that interests people and compels them to read more.

Adding an image to your blog can also add a little extra creativity, plus it engages people. They can be really beneficial as you can use them to draw attention to a specific point or merely break up the writing, which if it’s an extensive blog could get a little boring or drawn out to the reader. Images keep them from stopping halfway through and finding something else.

If you’re writing a blog then you must have a point. You should never leave a reader stumped or guessing about what exactly this point is. Always have a call-to-action in your blog that instructs the reader as to what they should do next. You should never just assume the reader already got this from your content. Chances are they don’t know as much about the topic as you do (or they probably wouldn’t be reading it in the first place!).

Leaving a signature and a PS at the end can add a little personality and give you one last opportunity to make a point. A PS is used in many forms of marketing; e-mails, sales letters and so on. Utilizing them can be quite beneficial and is best associated with your call-to-action. By leaving a signature you show the reader your not afraid to show a little bit of yourself on the web. There’s many different ways to leave a signature, it can be simple text or you can make a more customized one.

One more element that can really help is providing good links throughout the body of your blog. These can be internal links to another relevant article or blog of yours or an outbound to give your readers more information. Try linking to posts that rank high for whichever keyword phrase you’re using for that blog. This is more likely to improve SEO and bring it targeted traffic.
